The project is part of the existing Sydney Children’s Hospital and adjoining link to the Prince of Wales Hospital. The five story wing will be located next to the existing building and incorporates the construction of the new Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services building, including an inpatient unit, paediatric rehabilitation facility, short stay peri-operative facility, treatment and consultation
areas and a family facility for parents and carers.

Broad will be working closely with Hospital Management, Health Infrastructure and the Children’s Hospital Foundation to ensure building works are conducted safely and efficiently, with minimum disruption to the local community.

The construction is due to be completed by the end of 2012.
